What is Qabeelat Ruhma?

We are a group of committed volunteers of all ages from diverse backgrounds, united by our love of seeking knowledge and the pleasure of Allah SWT. Our ultimate goal is to positively impact the communities of the greater Seattle area by providing beneficial Islamic knowledge through AlMaghrib seminars.

Seattle was first introduced to AlMaghrib seminars in 2004, and was established as Qabeelat Ruhma in 2005, named aptly for the city of rain. Due to low attendance, seminars were discontinued in 2006 and students were left wanting more and striving to bring AlMaghrib back.

Working diligently to introduce the community to AlMaghrib Institute with small gatherings and events, the students of Qabeelat Ruhma were able to recruit a small group of volunteers to help with the relaunch of AlMaghrib seminars in Seattle. In March of 2012, Seattle was blessed with the opportunity to once again host an AlMaghrib seminar, Precious Provisions with Shaykh Yasir Qadhi. With the help of the community and dedicated volunteers, we were able to successfully host a seminar with over 200 attendees, walhamdulillah! And thus, Qabeelat Ruhma was reborn.
